    Terms · last updated 1 October 2026

Clear terms for a factual portfolio tool.

These terms describe the TrustPortfolio product contract. Portfolio and underlying-holdings calculations provide factual information; they are not investment advice or trade execution.

    1. What TrustPortfolio provides

TrustPortfolio provides a free browser-local ETF allocation builder and a separate private founder workspace. The builder calculates continuous ETF percentages from user-supplied holdings, company targets and constraints. The private workspace can show portfolio value, positions, performance, dividends, dated holdings evidence and company exposure where reliable. Neither flow assesses suitability, selects an unrequested security, places an order, moves money or provides personal investment, tax or legal advice.

    2. Your account and read-only connection

The free builder requires no account or brokerage connection. In the private founder workspace, you may connect exactly one brokerage account. You must use only an account and data you are entitled to access, keep your sign-in method secure and promptly revoke a connection you no longer use. TrustPortfolio requests read access for supported portfolio data; trading and money-movement permissions are outside the service contract.

    3. Data quality and calculations

Builder results depend on the holdings and exact identifiers you supply. Those identities, source labels and dates are not independently verified; there is no included catalogue of current ETF holdings. Examples are fictional. A mathematical optimum describes the chosen target-fit objective and numerical tolerance, not future returns or investment quality. Prices, whole units, fees, taxes and broker availability are not modelled by the builder. Private workspace results also depend on broker data and reviewed ETF evidence. Missing or unresolved weights remain explicit and are never redistributed. Verify material figures against your source documents.

    4. Private founder access

The free builder is publicly accessible without registration. Access to the separate founder workspace depends on authenticated membership in the server-side founder allowlist. There is no public registration, trial, subscription or payment flow. An authenticated session outside the allowlist receives no founder portfolio, source snapshot or route receipt. The builder does not access or publish those private records.

    5. Routes and receipts

A route is a deterministic private calculation based on stated inputs, constraints, portfolio evidence, prices and ETF snapshot IDs. A rotation receipt preserves that calculation for inspection. Marking a receipt manually executed does not send an order to a broker or alter the authoritative portfolio state; the next read-only sync remains authoritative.

    6. Support

Support covers founder sign-in, brokerage connection, data mismatches, unsupported ETFs, source freshness, calculation explanations and methodology. It does not include advice about what to buy, sell, hold or allocate.

    7. Availability and external services

Broker connections, market data, ETF publications, authentication and email services can be delayed or unavailable. TrustPortfolio may pause an unsafe integration or perform maintenance. No uninterrupted availability, complete ETF coverage, future return or investment outcome is guaranteed.

    8. Responsibility and liability

You remain responsible for decisions made using the service. To the extent permitted by law, TrustPortfolio is not responsible for investment loss, lost profit, tax consequences or decisions based on incomplete or misunderstood data. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.
